Book jacket series:One of my favorite projects while at Indiana University was to design book jackets for John Steinbeck's most noted works. I chose a bleak, minimalist style, featuring modern shapes but dated typesetting. I hoped to invoke contrast within the design; nothing is ever truly black or white, especially in Steinbeck's novels.
